An extremely rare color Aquatint executed with 4 plates and published by the artist's son Shalom Goldberg through his graphic studio, Deckled Edge Press located in Boca Raton, FL. The studio was closed in 2000 when his father, the artist, lost his ability to sign his name due to his illness. Exhibited during a series of three museum shows in Poland between 2013 and 2016.
The technique was developed at Deckled Edge after several years of experimentation. It consisted of utilizing four copper plates of the same exact size and hand applying the etching acids in measured levels to each plate to resemble the artist's watercolor original.
Image size: 24” x 18” with full margins, on Arches Cover off-white full sheet of 30” x 22”. An edition was never published! Only 18 numbered Artist Proofs of which 11 remain. Last signed graphic by the artist and noted on left as a numbered AP.
